Description
International and Intercultural Perspectives is designed to help
students examine the social, psychological, cultural and linguistic
complexities experienced by people whose country of origin is not
the United States. Readings, discussions, and guest speakers will
provide students with the opportunity to examine complex
perspectives of the international and intercultural experience. In
addition to required essays and presentations, students will
complete a case study research project involving experience in a
culturally unfamiliar setting and interaction with people who grew
into adulthood in a country other than the United States. Students
will examine data through various theoretical lenses to provide
insights into meaningful leadership. Prerequisite: Admittance into
