Description

International and Intercultural Perspectives is designed to help students examine the social, psychological, cultural and linguistic complexities experienced by people whose country of origin is not the United States. Readings, discussions, and guest speakers will provide students with the opportunity to examine complex perspectives of the international and intercultural experience. In addition to required essays and presentations, students will complete a case study research project involving experience in a culturally unfamiliar setting and interaction with people who grew into adulthood in a country other than the United States. Students will examine data through various theoretical lenses to provide insights into meaningful leadership. Prerequisite: Admittance into the Ed.D program (3 s.h.)
