Description
This course provides students with an understanding of the cognitive
processes involved as people acquire another language. Students will
study the elements of language, interlanguage processes, and
non-language influences. They will also learn how an understanding
of second language acquisition informs pedagogical decision-making.
Students will have the opportunity to work with an English language
learner in a classroom setting. (3 s.h.)
