Teachers will learn about assessment characteristics, uses, advantages, and limitations of assessment; select and construct assessments related to objectives; identify measurement theory elements; and evaluate assessments that measure growth. The course is designed for elementary, secondary, and K-12 teacher candidates. Prerequisite: Admission to teacher education program. (3 s.h.)
