The University of Sioux Falls is committed to protecting the privacy and security of student information in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and applicable university policies. We utilize two trusted third-party messaging services, Twilio and Regroup, to communicate with our stakeholders.
Please note the following information regarding SMS messaging:
- By providing your mobile phone number, you are opting in, and you agree to receive text messages from the University of Sioux Falls.
- These messages may include important updates, reminders, notifications, and other information related to the university.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You may opt-out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send.
- If you would like to resubscribe, you can reply START.

The University of Sioux Falls values your privacy. We use Twilio and Regroup, both trusted communications providers, to deliver SMS messages securely. These vendors act as our data processor and follow industry standards for message delivery and data protection.
We collect and use your phone number solely for the purpose of sending you relevant information as described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or message data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information may be stored and processed through their systems in accordance with their privacy policy. Data is transmitted and stored securely using encryption and other protective measures.
