Description
		
			This course focuses on the development of academic language and 
literacy strategies in cross curricular content for English Language 
Learners and struggling readers. Language instruction across all 
content areas (language arts, math, science, social studies, health, 
and technology) will be included as well as the collaboration 
between classroom teachers and ELL specialists/reading specialists. 
A 15-hour practicum is included in this course. Prerequisite: 
Admission to the teacher education program. (3 s.h.)
