Description
The purpose of this course is to develop an understanding of the
policies, procedures, and instruments used in assessing English
language proficiency and the academic competence of ELL students.
This course focuses on assessment of English Language Learners.
Assessment for ELL across all content areas (language arts, math,
science, social studies, health and technology) will be included. A
10-hour practicum/lab will support the academic content of this
course. Prerequisite: Admission into the teacher education program.
