Description
This course focuses on the application of psychology to educational
practice, emphasizing psychological foundations of learning. It
includes an overview of evaluation processes such as the development
of instructional objectives, test construction, portfolio
assessment, and grading. The content of this course has obvious
potential value for the student who is preparing to enter the
teaching profession. The activities, reading, witing, discussion,
and reflection are designed to increase understanding of learners at
all levels, learning theories, instructional models and assessment.
Focus is on the processes by which information, skills, values and
attitudes are exchanged between teachers and students. (3 s.h.)
