A seminar focusing on the study of key concepts and texts of literary criticism and cultural theory from the nineteenth century through the present. Topics may include language, textual production, authorship, readership, identity, culture, history, and ethics. Course contents will vary by semester and instructor, with specific course descriptions published for each semester the course is offered. Prerequisite: At least two courses in literature and/or philosophy. (3 s.h.)
