Description
An introduction at the calculus level to fundamental principles of
probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions
(including the hypergeometric, binomial, Poisson, exponential,
gamma, and normal distributions), and the development of the Central
Limit Theorem. The second half of the course proceeds with
applications to the statistics of sampling, including confidence
intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression.
Prerequisite: MAT205. (3 s.h.)
