Description
This course introduces differential equations and analytical,
numerical and graphical techniques for the analysis of their
solutions. First and second-order differential equations, linear
systems and Laplace transforms are studied. Applications are
selected from areas such as biology, chemistry, economics, ecology
and physics. Additional topics may include nonlinear systems and/or
partial differential equations. Prerequisite: MAT205. (3 s.h.)
Anticipated frequency of offering: spring (even years).
