Description
The focus of this course is on the health of the community and
subgroups within the community. Students learn to apply nursing and
public health concepts to promoting and restoring the health of
population groups.Selected community health problems and their
implications for community health nursing practice are considered.
In the clinical component of this course, students will provide
nursing care to aggregates of populations within a public health
nursing model. Prerequisite:
