Description

A study of the methods for teaching world languages to K-12 students. National and State Standards for Foreign Language Learning, Theories of Language Acquisition and the Proficiency Guidelines of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) provide the bases for the development of skills in effective and pedgogically sound planning and instruction. This course is required for Spanish Education majors. Prerequisites: SPA101-202 and admission into the USF Teacher Education Program or instructor permission. (3 s.h.)
