Description

This course emphasizes the importance the financial statement anlysis and reporting to all business decision makers. The course presents an overview of financial reporting and financial statement anlysis, from both an accounting and a finance perspective. The accounting perspective includes an anlysis of financing activities, investing activities and operating activities. Financial anlysis includes cash flow anlysis, analyzing return on invested capital, credit anlysis and equity anlysis and valuation. Students will be required to apply course concepts through the analysis of case studies. Prerequisites: ACC226 and COM104 (3 s.h.)
