Description
The first of a two-semester introduction to concepts of computer science, emphasizing computer programming. The programming language used provides an accessible introduction to structured and object-oriented programming. COM205 is a prerequisite to all higher courses in computer science and the techniques of information processing and mathematical modeling. No previous programming experience is expected. Prerequisites: MAT155 or its equivalent. (3 s.h.) Anticipated frequency of offering: fall.
