Description
Building upon the Problem of Practice course, students will engage
in the literature review writing process focusing on a Problem of
Practice within their professional context. Students will complete
an extensive review of scholarly articles, theoretical frameworks
and indicate major trends related to their Problem of Practice. The
final document produced in the course is a foundational piece to the
Dissertation in Practice that students will continue to develop
toward the proposal stage in Dissertation in Practice 2. The final
document in this course will provide the reader with appropriate
context, a critical analysis of the research and its relationship to
the stated Problem of Practice. (3 s.h.)
