Description

National and state science standards that focus on K-8 students' developmental needs will be addressed through strategies for making science lessons available to all K-8 students. Students will be encouraged to read and think about science pedagogy and the integration of science into the curriculum. Field experience in a K-8 classroom will also be completed. Prerequisite: Admission into the teacher eduaction program. (3 s.h.)
