Description
		
			Study of algebra, including polynomial and rational functions, 
trigonometry exponentials and logarithms.  This course is 
foundational to many areas of study including the natural sciences, 
business, and various aspects of the social sciences.  Prerequisite:  
MAT111 or a math ACT sub-score of at least 19, or a score of at 
least 480 on the mathematics section of the SAT, or a passing grade 
on a screening exam to be designed by the USF mathematics 
department.  The test-out option is available during a student's 
first year at USF and may be attempted at most twice during that
