Description

A study of criminal responsibility as it relates to substantive law, contributing and limiting conditions, and criminal defenses. Topics include various types of crime, the elements necessary for an action to become a crime, the mental states of offenders, defenses based on reduced or impaired capacity, and procedural rights or requirements. Prerequisite: CRJ 203 or consent of the instructor.
