Description

A comprehensive study of constitutional principles governing law enforcement, corrections policies, and the rights of individuals. Emphases include criminal conduct, search and seizure, interrogation of suspects, incarceration and the use of force, appeals, death penalty, and rules of evidence. Special attention will be given to recent cases and trends. Prerequisites: CRJ 203 and CRJ 220 or consent of the instructor.
