Description

Representing the direct interface between psychology and the law, Forensic Psychology deals with any admissible psychological evidence within the legal system. An overview of the theory, research, and practice of forensic psychology will include such topics as criminal profiling, psychopathy, insanity, competency to stand trial, polygraphs, brain-based deception research, eyewitness testimony, expert testimony, risk assessment, and the psychology of police investigations.
