Description
A survey of many of the fields of generalist social work practice including income maintenance, mental health, family and childrens services, corrections, aging services, medical and school social work. Study of the issues relating to these fields includes recognition of the social problems causing the need for services, the structure and extent of current services and issues in each field. Course will include agency visits. Recommended in freshman year.
