Description
This course is a survey of contemporary, award-winning plays and
their playwrights. While American playwrights are the focus, the
class is designed to give a global perspective of current issues as
expressed through playwriting. Class time is devoted to analysis and
discussion of the dramatic elements and themes of each play. (3
