The University of Sioux Falls Alumni Association, in partnership with Academic and Career Services, offers a mentorship program for students entering their junior or senior year. Through this program, students from all majors are matched with USF alumni who can provide guidance, encouragement, and insight as they begin preparing for life after graduation.
The goal of the mentorship program is to support students as they transition from college into the workforce or graduate school. Mentors and mentees will begin meeting in September to kick off the program, which continues through the end of April. The experience concludes with a celebration banquet recognizing the relationships and growth that took place throughout the year.
 
Application Timeline
Applications for the upcoming academic year are due by April 30.
 
Steps to Apply
  1. Complete the student application
    Submit your application using this link: Mentee-Application Form
  2. Request an endorsement
    Ask a professor, staff member, or coach to support your application. Send them a brief email explaining your interest in the mentorship program and provide the endorsement form link: Mentorship Endorsement Form
  3. Submit all materials by April 30
    Both the student application and the Faculty and Staff Endorsement Form must be submitted by the deadline.
After the application period closes, the Alumni Relations Office will follow up by email with the next steps for the upcoming academic year. Please watch for communication from the Alumni Relations team.
