Description

A survey of general chemistry including measurement, atomic structure, bonding, reaction, stoichiometry and states of matter. Suitable for all Natural Science Area majors.Three lectures and one 2-hour lab per week. Prerequisite: ACT math subscore of 20 or higher, or a SAT math score of 530 or higher, or successful completion of MAT111 or its equivalent. Co-requisite: CHE111L.(4 s.h.)Anticipated frequency of offering: fall.
