Description

A brief survey of general chemistry. Suitable for students who need to satisfy the University's liberal arts science requirement or for students who do not intend to take any additional chemistry courses beyond CHE122. This course cannot be applied to a chemistry major or minor. Three lectures and one 2-hour lab per week. Prerequisite: ACT math subscore of 20 or higher, or a SAT math score of 530 or higher, or successful completion of MAT111 or its equivalent. Co-requisite: CHE112L. (4 s.h.) Anticipated frequency of offering: fall.
