Description
An introduction to a balanced literacy framework for early reading
instruction. Instruction will focus on the stages of reading and
instruction in large groups, small groups, and individually to meet
the needs of beginning readers. Field-based practicum experience in
a primary classroom is included. Prerequisite: Admission into the
teacher education program. (3 s.h.)
