Description
An introduction to a foundational framework for writing instruction
and the stages of spelling assessment and instruction. Students will
assess writing samples at K-8 grade levels and identify
instructional strategies to meet assessment goals. Field-based
practicum experience will be integrated with residency teaching.
Prerequisite: Admission to teacher residency. This course should be
taken concurrently with teacher residency. (2 s.h.)
