Description

This course introduces future educators to the integration of movement, visual art, music, theatre and dance across the K-8 curriculum. Students examine key concepts in movement and the visual and performing arts while exploring creative, kinesthetic teaching strategies that enrich learning, engagement and whole-child development. The course aligns with state and national standars for elementary teacher preparation, incorporating the South Dakota Fine Arts, Health and Physical Education Standards. (3 s.h.)
