Study and practice in the art of writing expository prose. Working in a seminar setting, students perfect their rhetorical skills by analyzing the essays of professional writers, writing essays themselves, editing the papers of other class members and participating in critiques of papers in class. Prerequisite: LAR111 and 112.(3 s.h.)
