Description

Students will examine leadership theories, skills and practices essential for effectiveness in entrepreneurial environments including private businesses, corporations, nonprofit organizations and social movements. This course explores entrepreneurial leadership through the lens of Christian values and ethics, emphasis is placed on developing and applying a biblical worldview that informs leadership identity, decision-making and organizational influence. Through engagement with Scripture, contemporary leadership insights and modern business frameworks, students will evaluate competing definitions of leadership and articulate a personal, biblically grounded leadership philosophy. Students will also practice ethical discernment in entrepreneurial contexts and develop skills for leading with integrity, stewardship and purposeful influence. Prerequisite: ENT 225 and junior status. (3 s.h.)
