Description

This course focuses on the fundamental theories and practical concepts related to sport facility and event management. In particular, students will become familiar with ticketing and box office management, food service management, crowd management, risk management, contracting and emergency and evactuation planning. Issues related to construction, maintenance and the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act will also be addressed. (3 s.h.)
