USF Email

A email address is created for all University of Sioux Falls students, faculty, and staff members when their network account is created.

In most cases, your email address will be formatted as:  Firstname.Lastname@usiouxfalls.edu

(Example: John.Doe@usiouxfalls.edu)

However, when logging in to your email, your UserName will be the same as your network login (Example: jodoe)
[Not your email address]

This address will serve as the 'official' address for all university-related communications, some of which may be time-sensitive. Students, faculty and staff are expected to check their email on a frequent and consistent basis.

Outlook Application

The MS-Outlook application is available as part of the MS-Office package.  For more information on obtaining and installing MS-Office on your computer, please visit our help page at: https://my.usiouxfalls.edu/ICS/Help/Software.jnz

In most cases, if your computer is Windows based and is connected to the USF campus network, it will self-configure for your email upon opening MS-Outlook for the first time.

If your computer is a MAC or is Windows based but NOT connected to the USF campus network, you will need to assist with the configuration process by providing your email address and password.  In rare cases, it may also ask you for the "server" address which is: mail.usiouxfalls.edu.

Outlook Webmail

You may use Outlook Webmail to access your email via any web browser at: https://mail.usiouxfalls.edu/

(Or click on Campus Email at the bottom of the USF Website)

When logging in to Outlook Webmail, your UserName will be the same as your network login
(Example: jodoe)
[Not your email address]
